What Chomsky and Herman are trying to say about the liberal media is that, there is no such thing. That, in the media itself is just the opposite. That, the media is being controlled by conservatives and that they are telling eveyone its the liberals that are controlling the media and so everyone belives them. That the "elite corperations" like GE and Westinghouse control the mainsteam media broadcating staitions like ABC,CBS or NBC and the "elite corperations" that own those broadcating stations, control what news gets out and what news stays buried. That, one of the only ways those stories will ever be broadcast will be by someone who doesn't have a job that can be taken away for showing somthing that they were not supposed to on the air. Ex: someone that shows liberal stories on Fox will be cut off by somthing or someone and never be invited back or if they work for the station, they will be most likely fired for showing that.

The movie manufacturing consent is about Professor Noam Chompski and he is telling us that we are falling victim to the corperate media and what they are showing us. We are being brainwashed by the corperate media, and only are shown what they want us to see and as a democracy this is enabling the people of that democracy to not think for themselves and just belive whatever propaganda they throw at us. This movie is telling us that we need to take a stand and take but democracy.

new, lacking color, wordy, There is no person depicted in this ad.
The pictures seem to be just thrown on there without much regard for their placement. There seems to be no lighting in this ad. The colors that this ad includes are small amounts : green and blue. the product being sold here is a variation of i tech the "iTaser" the humor and mental image you get from this would be enough to make you want to the product but what would you really do with this if you actually bought it?

I watched the "its my money" commercial and it had salience, testamonials and then I watched a Dr. Pepper commercial where hulk hogan and some bikers surrounded a guy in a suit and ask him "what dr. pepper tastes like" and when he answered like dr. pepper the said "its go time" and closed in on him. it had humor, salience, possiblely bandwagon.

    deconstucing of an Ad

      colorful, vibrent, impressive, semi-blurry
There is no gender represented in this ad. the camera angle seems to be in front in the picture, the ligthing in this ad seems to be around the iphone only, being very bright and colorful and then  fades out as the farther out the light gets. Meaning the shadows around the picture are very small. There are green, yellow, red, pink, and orange used in this ad and they are dynamic to the ad. The product being sold here is obviously an iphone. It really catches your eye and wants to to buy it.

    the deconstructing of an ad

    lacking color, dull, old, blurry,
counter-top, swivl chairs, glass of coke
there is one person depicted in this ad, it is a women, she is wearing old
clothes but stylish for the time, she has an inviting smile on her face. It looks like a behind camera angle with it being eye-level to the subject. The lighting seems to to be artificial and apears to be coming from behind the camera as to cast light on the subject. The colors are dull shades of green, red, white, and purple and contrast fairly smoothly together. There are two lines of text in this ad that are the color white, one is in big curly font and says: coca-cola and the other is in much smaller capital font that says: have a coke. This ad is targeting anyone that wants to drink a coke.
